Admission Procedure

Procedure to apply:

Application form with prospectus can be obtained from the college directly. The Candidate must give her full name as seen in the S.S.L.C. certificate in the application form and in all related correspondence.

The information given in the application form should be correct. Any false information or suppression of any factual information in the application would be considerate sufficient for disqualification of application. If false information or suppression of factual information has been furnished by the candidate any time during the programme, the candidate would be liable to be terminated besides other actions taken by the institution.

The duly completed application form has to be submitted to the Principal, BGS College of Nursing, Mysore. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Any document sent separately should be enclosed with a covering letter explaining the purpose of the same with full name. If reply is expected, a self addressed envelope must be enclosed with postal stamps affixed.

 

Procedure for obtaining Eligibility Certificate:

Candidates are expected to obtain an eligibility certificate on paying a prescribed fee from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The candidate has to apply to Registrar, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore on the prescribed application form.

 

Registration for the Programme:

All the candidates selected for the programme are expected to report to the Principal for admission with the prescribed fee and relevant original certificates on the stipulated date.
 

Attendance:

A minimum of 90% of attendance is required in theory and practical separately in each subject, an attendance of the 10% may be condoned by the vice chancellor of the university on the recommendation of the principal based on genuinity of the case.

 

Withdrawal from the Programme:

Candidates who accept the offer of selection and joining the programme are expected to complete the programme. If due to any unavoidable circumstances, sick or illness/ a candidate is forced to discontinue/ the desire to withdraw, should be notified to the Principal in writing.

Those who withdraw from the programme after the registration will be required to pay the full amount of fee for the said programme. Legal jurisdiction will be in the court of Mysore.

If the candidate is found to engage in any kind of indiscipline activities or illegal activities that brings down the college reputation will be expelled out.
